Overview

Dedicated School Staffing is seeking Behavioral and Academic Coaches at the Educational Service Center of Lake Erie in Toledo, Ohio. The role involves providing support to classroom teachers by implementing educational programs and behavior plans for students with various disabilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the classroom teacher in reinforcing educational programs and behavior plans for students
  • Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain clear communication with the classroom teacher
  • Assist in the implementation of the PBIS system and coach students in behavior management skills
  • Collect data to monitor student progress and assist with documentation
  • Support crisis intervention situations in the ALC program
  • Supervise students during non-classroom settings
  • Perform routine clerical tasks and assist with classroom maintenance
  • Help maintain accurate student records and prepare reports
