Overview

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Santee, California. This role involves providing one-on-one support to children with autism, using ABA therapy to teach essential life skills. Flexible part-time shifts are available for candidates with various experience levels, and those who are bilingual may receive additional compensation.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Use play and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Help clients develop essential life skills such as motor skills and personal hygiene

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations
  • Basic office software skills
  • Eagerness and energy to engage with children
