Overview

ABS Kids is seeking Behavior Technicians or RBTs to join their team in Kearns, Utah. This role is ideal for both entry-level applicants and seasoned professionals, with flexible part-time shifts available. The company's mission focuses on making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism and their families, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

  • Make a difference in the life of a child using ABA therapy
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Help children develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, and social skills
  • Use play, patience, and behavioral techniques to teach real-life skills

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Reliable transportation for traveling to client homes
  • Tech savviness for data collection software and basic office tasks
  • Eagerness to learn and help others
