Overview

ABS Kids is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians and RBTs to support children with autism spectrum disorder. This position allows for flexible shifts and offers professional training for those without experience. The work involves using ABA therapy and play to teach essential skills to children in a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support clients with autism spectrum disorder one-on-one
  • Use play and ABA therapy to teach life skills
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Assist children in developing personal hygiene, daily living, social, and emotional skills

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • A heart for helping kids
  • Calm and steady presence
  • Eagerness and energy to engage with children
  • Reliable transportation
  • Tech-savviness for data collection software and basic office software
