Overview

ABS Kids is seeking a Behavior Technician or RBT to work with children with autism. This role offers flexible part-time shifts and encourages applicants with various backgrounds to apply, as no prior experience is necessary. Key responsibilities

  • Make a difference in the life of a child using ABA therapy
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Help children develop essential life skills including motor skills, hygiene, and social skills

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Reliable transportation to client homes
  • Tech savviness to learn data collection software and use basic office software
  • A calm, steady presence and eagerness to play
