Overview

ABS Kids is seeking part-time Behavior Technicians or RBTs in Taylorsville, Utah, offering a bonus opportunity based on experience. This role involves providing support to children with autism spectrum disorder while utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Use play, patience, and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Help children develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, and social skills
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliability and eagerness to engage with children
  • Ability to use data collection software and basic office software
  • Reliable transportation to client locations
