Overview

ABS Kids is seeking a Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Wildomar, California. This role involves providing one-on-one support to children with autism, using play and ABA therapy to teach essential life skills. The position offers flexible part-time shifts and is open to candidates of all experience levels, particularly those who are bilingual in Spanish and English.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder
  • Use play and ABA therapy to teach real-life skills
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff
  • Help children develop essential life skills such as motor skills, personal hygiene, and social skills

Required skills

  • 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
  • Tech savviness to learn data collection software and use basic office software
  • Calm and steady presence
