Overview

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a Battery & Light Service Driver to join their Upper Marlboro Roadside Assistance Team. This role involves providing mobile battery services, conducting diagnostic tests, and assisting members with various vehicle services while ensuring safety and quality control.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide mobile battery services following established guidelines
  • Perform diagnostic tests and recommend battery solutions
  • Communicate effectively with members to keep them informed
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections for safety
  • Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology
  • May provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire changes
  • Ensure fleet vehicle and equipment are secured at all times
  • Complete required departmental training within 60 days of hire

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment or in sales/customer service
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to perform various diagnostic tests and recommend solutions
  • Basic skills using email and GPS
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of hand tools for service tasks
