Overview

SSP is seeking a Barista for its Spinnakers location at Victoria Airport. The role requires providing excellent customer service in a secure airport environment, which includes cash handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Input orders into the register and create checks for guests
  • Receive cash and process payments, ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain proper set-up of the bar and ensure product quality
  • Adhere to liquor regulations when serving alcohol
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to meet health standards
  • Assist with stock management of fresh ingredients
  • Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner

Required skills

  • Minimum one year serving experience
  • Serving it Right certificate
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
