Overview

Fresh Baguette is seeking a Full-Time Barista to join their team in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia area. As a barista, you'll play a key role in creating delicious baked goods while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and prompt customer service
  • Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
  • Offer product recommendations to enhance customer experience
  • Bake a variety of breads and baked goods
  • Prepare products for the next day's baking schedule
  • Organize and maintain freezer and fridge areas
  • Pack delivery items and ensure proper storage
  • Set up the bread display for an inviting presentation
  • Clean and sanitize the baking station
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food storage standards
  • Make and serve baked goods, sandwiches, salads, and pastries
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers
