Overview

The Banquets Houseperson at Marriott International, Inc. is responsible for the final breakdown of functions, ensuring cleanliness and organization in service areas, and supporting other departments to provide excellent guest service. This part-time role involves a variety of tasks including cleaning, setting up work areas, and adhering to safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

  • Complete final breakdown of functions by cleaning rooms and returning equipment to its proper location
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas
  • Transport and separate dirty linen for cleaning
  • Assist other departments to ensure optimum service to guests
  • Follow safety and security policies and report unsafe work conditions
  • Maintain uniform and personal appearance professionally
  • Use clear and professional language when communicating with others
  • Support team objectives and adhere to quality standards
  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided and heavier objects with assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
