Overview

The Banquet Supervisor at White Lodging Services Corporation is a key supervisory role at the Union Club Hotel at Purdue, responsible for assisting the Banquet Manager in executing successful banquet and meeting functions. This role emphasizes operational excellence, effective communication, and adherence to departmental standards throughout the planning and execution of events.

Key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of events from planning to execution and post-event duties
  • Maintain compliance with hotel standards and procedures
  • Assist in writing departmental standards and policies
  • Ensure departmental cleanliness and organization
  • Promote effective communication within the department and with guests
  • Manage forecasting, scheduling, and payroll processes
  • Prepare accurate billing consumption forms for events
  • Assist with meeting preparations and documentation
  • Delegate duties to staff and provide coaching and guidance
