Confidential Employer.JOB DESCRIPTIONPrepare, organize, and e-file pleadings, motions, notices, and court documents in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and related state court insolvency proceedingsManage case files end-to-end, including docket monitoring, deadline calendaring, and matter organization across bankruptcy and commercial litigation casesSupport attorneys with discovery, document review, claim reconciliation, exhibit preparation, and trial and hearing binder assemblyCoordinate with clients, court personnel, trustees, vendors, and opposing counsel on filings, service of process, scheduling, and case logisticsConduct legal research, gather supporting documentation, and assist with drafting correspondence, reports, and client communicationsServe as a reliable point of contact for case-related follow-up and status tracking across active mattersQUALIFICATIONSParalegal Certificate, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, or complex commercial litigationDemonstrated experience with e-filing in federal and/or state courtsStrong docketing and deadline management skillsExcellent organizational, writing, and proofreading abilitiesAbility to manage multiple concurrent matters independently and as part of a teamWHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HEREThis firm has been a cornerstone of New Jersey's legal community for over 50 years - and the culture reflects it.
