Overview

The B Technician at Heartland Tire Inc is responsible for performing preventative functions such as inspections, diagnosis, and automotive repairs. This role emphasizes providing friendly and timely service to customers while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and repairs on automotive systems including brakes, alignments, and suspensions
  • Change oil and/or transmission fluid and filters
  • Install and perform tire maintenance
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles
  • Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment
  • Provide helpful and friendly service to customers
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required skills

  • Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, carry and/or move 50-100 pounds
  • Experience in tire service (3 years preferred)
  • ASE certifications and/or technical school degree (preferred but not required)
  • Strong teamwork and positive attitude
