Overview

Transdev in Salinas, CA is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Mechanic to join their team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency across the fleet.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests to troubleshoot automotive issues
  • Perform moderate to complex repairs and replacements
  • Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to optimize fleet performance
  • Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians

Required skills

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • CDL certification a plus
  • Electrical diagnostic and repair skills
  • Familiarity with scan tools and diagnostic methods
  • Strong suspension and brake diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
  • Must provide own comprehensive tool set
