Overview

Transdev in Salinas, CA is seeking an experienced B-Level Automotive Mechanic to join their team, focusing on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gas vehicles and equipment. This role requires expertise in automotive mechanics to ensure the safety and efficiency of the fleet.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software.
  • Perform moderate to complex repairs and replacements of automotive components.
  • Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns.
  • Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Required skills

  • 5-10 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
  • ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided.
  • CDL certification a plus.
  • Electrical diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Familiarity with scan tools and data comprehension.
  • Strong suspension and brake diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts.
