Overview

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians in Edwardsville, Illinois to join their high-performing team. The ideal candidates should hold ASE certification or possess significant hands-on experience in automotive repair, demonstrating a commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation
  • Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, and general automotive maintenance
  • Conduct Missouri state inspections or obtain certification
  • Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment for troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work
  • Provide professional customer service and explain repair recommendations

Required skills

  • ASE certification or 5+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Missouri State Inspector License or ability to obtain one
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
  • Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, and automotive maintenance
