Overview

Transdev in Chicago, IL is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join their team. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining gasoline engines in various vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
  • Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components.
  • Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
  • Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
