Overview

Jiffy Lube is seeking an Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic to deliver high-quality automotive service and ensure safe and efficient vehicle servicing. This hands-on role involves performing preventive maintenance and light mechanical services, focusing on customer experience and effective communication.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes
  • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
  • Perform fluid services and exchanges
  • Replace air filters, cabin air filters, windshield wiper blades, and batteries
  • Perform tire rotations, balancing, installations, and flat repairs
  • Assist with brake services and basic mechanical diagnostics
  • Support service recommendations and quotes based on vehicle condition
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide a professional customer experience through clear communication

Required skills

  • Previous automotive or mechanical experience
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and automotive systems
  • Ability to perform multiple services in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • ASE certification(s) a plus
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends
