Overview

Jiffy Lube is seeking Automotive Service Technicians/Mechanics to provide high-quality automotive service and maintenance. This role involves performing a variety of preventive maintenance and light mechanical services in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes including various types of oil services
  • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings
  • Perform fluid services such as coolant and transmission fluid exchanges
  • Replace air filters, cabin air filters, windshield wiper blades, and batteries
  • Perform tire rotations, balancing, installations, and flat repairs
  • Assist with brake services including pads and rotors
  • Diagnose basic mechanical issues and identify service needs
  • Provide recommendations and quotes based on vehicle condition
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Deliver professional customer service through clear communication

Required skills

  • Automotive or mechanical experience
  • Understanding of preventive maintenance and basic automotive systems
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • ASE certification(s) a plus (ASE A5 preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends
