Overview

As an Automotive Service Technician at Park Place Lexus Grapevine, you will play a vital role in ensuring an extraordinary experience for clients. This position involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, communicating effectively with clients and team members, and adhering to dealership policies and standards to maintain high levels of service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles with integrity and ethics
  • Communicate additional service requests to the Assistant Service Manager (ASM)
  • Plan work procedures in cooperation with the Team Leader
  • Provide labor time estimates to the ASM
  • Monitor repair time and update ASM on vehicle status
  • Maintain client vehicle care and operation per dealership policy
  • Complete documentation for client repairs
  • Adhere to safety and dress code standards
  • Attend company and factory training sessions
  • Stay current with technical bulletins and manufacturer warranty requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods

Required skills

  • Automotive repair and diagnostics experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Team collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding vehicle repairs
  • Understanding dealership computer systems
  • Ability to obtain a State Inspector license if not already completed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
