Carter Myers Automotive is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join the team at Lynchburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles while adhering to safety and manufacturer standards, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and software
  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Repair and service engines, transmissions, fuel systems, and HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as wiring and batteries
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Required skills
