Job Description

Overview

The Automotive Service Advisor at Blain's Farm & Fleet will provide quality customer service while performing automotive services efficiently. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, managing work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety and loss prevention policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform automotive services in a timely manner
  • Assist customers in a customer service and sales focused environment
  • Utilize computers to manage inventory levels and service scheduling
  • Explain work orders and invoices to customers
  • Perform retail cashier duties, including processing payments
  • Install batteries, balance wheels, and repair/install tires as needed
  • Conduct oil changes using LOF procedures
  • Interpret vehicle inspection results and make service recommendations

Required skills

  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Prior auto repair experience preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
