Overview

Goodwin Motor Group is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team at a brand-new Mazda facility in Brunswick, Maine. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and involves communication regarding vehicle maintenance and repair needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Greets customers promptly
  • Obtains customer and vehicle information
  • Reports vehicle symptoms described by customers
  • Determines and recommends needed maintenance based on vehicle history
  • Prepares accurate estimates of labor and parts costs
  • Establishes follow-up time for services
  • Monitors vehicle progress and updates customers regularly
  • Verifies final invoice against work performed
  • Explains completed work and charges to customers

Required skills

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a service advisory role preferred
  • Knowledge of automobiles
