Overview

SteadFast Services is seeking a motivated Automotive General Service Technician to join their award-winning team at Honest1 Auto Care Eagan East in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role offers the opportunity to launch your automotive career with real support from day one, including a competitive hourly wage and a valuable tool set as a sign-on bonus.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance services
  • Conduct digital vehicle inspections using the Roadworthy Inspection system and document findings accurately
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics as directed
  • Maintain a clean, organized bay and follow all shop safety procedures
  • Communicate professionally with service advisors on job status and findings
  • Participate in ongoing training to build technical skills and pursue ASE certifications

Required skills

  • Genuine interest in automotive service and desire to grow in the trade
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Basic automotive knowledge (oil types, tire specs, fluid services)
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50+ lbs occasionally, and work at a brisk pace
