Job Description

Overview

Resilience is seeking an Automation Engineer III to deliver technical projects for manufacturing intelligence and automation systems. This role involves providing change management, lifecycle analysis, and serving as a subject matter expert to support the design, optimization, and commissioning of automation systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Interface with various types of automation equipment and systems including PLCs, SCADAs, and HMIs.
  • Participate in the design and validation of new and existing equipment as the automation lead.
  • Consult with cross-functional teams and assist in process development.
  • Review and approve project requirements, specifications, and coding procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on systems and processes.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements in productivity and compliance.
  • Lead investigations and studies with minimal supervision.
  • Perform quality audits to ensure device functionality.
  • Provide 24/7 support as part of an on-call system.

Required skills

  • Significant experience in a cGMP environment
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Emerson)
  • Knowledge of GMP principles and ISA standards
  • Experience with FactoryTalk Batch and Microsoft SQL database designs
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
