BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE is seeking an Auto Mechanic - Level A for their Avon, Indiana location. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and teamwork while diagnosing and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to maintain high-quality service and equipment standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Create raving fans with exceptional customer service
  • Diagnose and repair passenger and light trucks to specifications
  • Minimize customer complaints through efficient repair services
  • Work independently while collaborating with peers as needed
  • Maintain shop equipment and adhere to safety practices
  • Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers
  • Continuously learn new automotive technologies through training
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and support departments
  • Adhere to company policies and legal guidelines

Required skills

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with vehicle repairs
  • Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
  • Experience in passenger/light truck maintenance and repairs
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing at least 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental practices
