Overview

BEST ONE TIRE & SERVICE is seeking an Auto Mechanic to join their team in Madisonville, Kentucky. This full-time position emphasizes creating positive results for teammates and customers, contributing to the mission of becoming a trusted provider of tires and services.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform engine diagnostics and repairs
  • Conduct brake inspections and repairs
  • Execute alignments and steering repairs
  • Carry out suspension repairs
  • Weld and fabricate as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance services
  • Maintain a clean shop
  • Operate heavy-duty service trucks for road service
  • Repair trucks and trailers on-site for customers
  • Perform fleet inspections and communicate needs effectively

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in vehicle repairs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and shop machinery
  • Positive attitude and good customer service skills
