Overview

As an Auto Glass Repair Specialist at Safelite, you will utilize industry-leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs while promoting a service-minded approach. This role requires a focus on quality and customer satisfaction, ensuring that repairs meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn to repair vehicle glass under the guidance of experienced technicians
  • Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles
  • Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication using Mobile Resource Management technology
  • Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers
  • Clean customer vehicles during repair processes and perform housekeeping tasks
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles and utilize company-issued tools and chemicals
  • Comply with all policies and standards

Required skills

  • Experience in auto glass repair and vehicle maintenance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with driving regulations
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
