Overview

The Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee position at Safelite in Johnston, Rhode Island, offers an opportunity to start a career in auto glass repair and installation. Trainees will undergo both hands-on and classroom training to develop the skills needed to become certified technicians, emphasizing a customer-focused approach and quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

  • Learn and apprentice in installing and repairing auto glass
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing
  • Study and pass testing to achieve Safelite certification
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles and tools
  • Assist in providing additional services and products
  • Comply with company policies and quality standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
