Overview

As an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee at Safelite, you will be a key player in providing exceptional vehicle glass repair and replacement services. This role involves working both in the shop and onsite with Mobile Glass Shop offerings, using top-tier tools and technologies to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide vehicle glass repair and replacement services in an efficient manner.
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and conduct diagnostic testing.
  • Operate Safelite's tools and technologies confidently.
  • Safely drive company and customer vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Communicate with customers in-person, via text, and on the phone.
  • Promote and sell Safelite services and products.
  • Maintain professionalism and compliance with company policies.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid state-issued driver's license
  • Safelite SafeTech certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Competence in using hand and power tools safely
  • Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
