Overview

As an Auto Glass Installation Technician Trainee at Safelite, you will undergo training to become a proficient auto glass technician. The position emphasizes hands-on experience and classroom instruction, leading to Safelite SafeTech certification and the skills necessary for effective glass repair and replacement, as well as safety systems recalibration.

Key responsibilities

  • Observe and assist in installing and repairing auto glass
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems and perform diagnostic testing
  • Provide additional services and products as needed
  • Study and pass tests to become Safelite-certified Technician
  • Safely operate company and customer vehicles, tools, and chemicals
  • Comply with all company policies and standards
