Overview

Nye Auto Collision Center is seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Painter to join their team in Oneida, New York. The ideal candidate will restore body parts and bodywork of damaged vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer's quality standards, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Restore damaged vehicle body parts according to quality standards
  • Operate body shop equipment safely and correctly
  • Remove rust and clean work surfaces
  • Mask and protect parts not to be painted
  • Mix paints and primers to achieve desired colors
  • Paint surfaces using spray guns or brushes as required
  • Examine painted surfaces for quality assurance
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and tools
  • Comply with safety regulations regarding hazardous materials
  • Document all work performed and communicate with other departments

Required skills

  • Experience in auto body repair and painting
