Job Description

Overview

The Auto Body Technician role at Assured Automotive in Chelmsford, Ontario involves performing structural and non-structural repairs on vehicles. Technicians will work collaboratively to meet the collision repair facility's KPIs while benefitting from a supportive environment focused on professional growth and performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Repair damage to vehicle body panels
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
  • Assess and repair structural components of vehicles
  • Use frame equipment
  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
  • Take responsibility for outcomes and seek learning opportunities

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
  • Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Red Seal or 310B certification preferred
  • I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) preferred
