Job Description

Overview

The Auto Body Technician at Boyd Autobody is responsible for both structural and non-structural vehicle repairs. This role includes disassembling, repairing, and reassembling vehicles while ensuring consistent adherence to the company's performance standards and KPIs within a supportive and professional work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
  • Repair damage to vehicle body panels
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior parts and electrical components
  • Remove and install welded and sectioned parts
  • Assess and repair structural components of vehicles
  • Utilize frame equipment effectively
  • Continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Required skills

  • Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Post-Secondary Education in Auto Body Repair
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Red Seal or 310B preferred
  • I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) desirable
