Overview

The Audit Supervisor position at CFS in Atlanta offers an opportunity to lead financial statement engagements within a flexible, hybrid work environment. Ideal for experienced audit professionals, this role focuses on client relationship management and technical growth while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and perform financial statement engagements from planning through completion
  • Act as a key client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Mentor and support junior staff through guidance and on-the-job training
  • Develop a strong understanding of client operations to enhance audit procedures
  • Prepare and review working papers and financial statements
  • Perform analytical procedures and evaluate financial data
  • Communicate effectively with engagement leadership regarding progress and issues
  • Work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Travel to client sites within the Atlanta Metro area as needed

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Thomson Reuters Engagement Manager or CaseWare is a plus
