Overview

The Audio Visual Technician IV at Marriott International is responsible for the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio-visual and conferencing equipment in banquet and meeting rooms. This role involves ensuring equipment functionality, assisting guests with AV services, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV, projection, lighting, and conferencing equipment
  • Oversee the setup of AV equipment in banquet and meeting rooms
  • Ensure all AV equipment is fully operational and communicate any issues
  • Assist and instruct guests with proper usage of AV equipment
  • Monitor equipment operation and up-sell AV services
  • Follow company safety and security policies and report unsafe conditions
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold confidentiality
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
