Job Description

Overview

IM Solutions, LLC is seeking an Audio Visual Commissioning Lead Technician to ensure AV systems are operational and meet performance specifications prior to client handover. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and technical skills in Audio Visual systems and will work closely with field technicians to successfully deliver projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and prioritize project related tasks on a daily basis
  • Mentor and support field technicians in AV system installations
  • Coordinate with Program Manager and Project Engineer to understand project scope
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications and technical documentation
  • Configure and program control systems and DSPs
  • Install and maintain AV/IT systems including racks and display devices
  • Conduct final system testing, calibration, and quality assurance checks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in system configurations
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users
  • Maintain updated system configuration and redline documents

Required skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • 10+ years of AV installation experience
  • 3-5 years of AV commissioning and system testing experience
  • Strong understanding of AV signal processing and networking
  • Experience with DSPs and control systems
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Great communication abilities
