Overview

Zachys Wine International is seeking an Auction Property Assistant to join their team in Port Chester, NY. This entry-level role involves supporting the Auction Property team by inventorying, cataloging, and photographing wine bottles in preparation for auctions, while providing opportunities for growth into a Junior Wine Specialist position.

Key responsibilities

  • Support assessing and lot check
  • Photograph bottles of wine for auction catalog
  • Build boxes and safely pack wine
  • Photograph, build, scan, and move pallets of wine
  • Coordinate high-value bottle sign-off and photography
  • Maintain cleanliness, supplies, and stocking of assessing area
  • Provide property pick-up support
  • Assist during auctions with event set-up and data entry
  • Review auction catalog data
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
