Elderly Care Law Firm is seeking a motivated Attorney - Veterans Advocate to join their remote team in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on advocating for veterans' benefits by handling claims with the VA and guiding a dedicated support team, making a significant impact in the lives of veterans.

Key responsibilities

  • Advocate for veterans' benefits by leading claims before the VA.
  • Assist with webinars and outreach initiatives to educate and support veterans.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to paralegals and law clerks.
  • Engage in BVA hearings and prepare appeals for the Court of Appeals of Veterans Claims.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity.

Required skills

  • VA accreditation

  • Licensed attorney in any US state
  • Preference for Florida Bar membership
