R.L. Barclay & Associates is seeking a 2+ year commercial real estate attorney to join a reputable law firm in Austin. This role involves representing clients in various real estate matters and offers strong growth potential with a defined path for advancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and development matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex real estate agreements and contracts
  • Conduct title review and due diligence on real estate transactions
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory requirements for real estate transactions
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals for seamless legal service delivery
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and real estate transactions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas
  • 2-4 years of experience in commercial real estate
  • Legal research and contract negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business and legal documents
