An established and growing law firm located in Troy is seeking an insurance defense attorney to join their team. The role involves handling all aspects of Michigan No-Fault and insurance defense litigation, as well as managing case files from inception to resolution.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of Michigan No-Fault and insurance defense litigation
  • Manage case files from inception to resolution
  • Conduct legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and courts

Required skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice in Michigan
  • 1-5 years of experience in Michigan No-Fault law and insurance defense litigation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Writing and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Proactive and client-focused approach to legal practice
