The ideal candidate will have experience representing public and private sector management clients in labor and employment disputes and a strong commitment to workplace justice. Responsibilities Represent employers in labor and employment matters, including wage and hour claims, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, and FMLA/ADA issues, and claims unique to public sector employment.Handle traditional labor law matters including collective bargaining negotiations, investigations, and grievances.Regular employer counseling for a wide variety of employment / labor law related issues. Draft pleadings, motions, and discoveryConduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and hearingsManage cases from intake through resolutionCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courtsContribute to case strategy and firm growth Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing in New Jersey mandatory. Pennsylvania or New York a plus.Demonstrated experience in labor and employment law.Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skillsAbility to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with a teamCommitment to client-centered representation Preferred Experience (Not Required) Trial or arbitration experienceEmployment Counseling Experience.
