R.L. Barclay & Associates is seeking an experienced Corporate/Tax Attorney to join a prestigious Houston law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate law with a tax background, focusing on providing advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and complex corporate matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Counsel high-net-worth individuals and families on asset protection and tax minimization strategies
  • Assist with business succession planning for closely held and family-owned businesses
  • Provide guidance on corporate planning and tax implications of transactions
  • Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive client solutions

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license with the State Bar
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or LLM in Taxation preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of corporate experience
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients and complex estates
  • Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills
