We handle divorce, custody, child and spousal support, and civil protection order matters, with a client first approach built over 14+ years of practice. Our small, close knit team includes experienced support staff dedicated to efficient, high quality representation.Position OverviewWe're seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing firm. This is a hybrid role, three days in one of our offices and two days remote, built around trust and accountability rather than micromanagement. Because a significant portion of compensation is performance based, this role suits an attorney who is self directed, reliable, and produces results without needing close oversight.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and civil protection ordersAttend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as required (Northeast Ohio courts)Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documentsCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the courtCollaborate with paralegal staff to keep cases moving efficientlyMaintain accurate time and billing recordsRequirementsLicensed to practice law in Ohio, in good standingFamily law experience strongly preferred; will consider strong candidates with related litigation experienceReliable transportation and availability for in person court appearances, no exceptions on court daysStrong personal accountability. This role requires someone who manages their own time and workload responsibly, especially on remote daysExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and handle sensitive client matters with discretion and professionalismSchedule3 days per week in office (Medina area location)2 days per week remoteCourt appearances required as scheduled, regardless of remote/in office day
