THE GIGBrava Family Law is growing, and we're looking for an attorney who's as sharp in a courtroom as they are steady with a client having the worst week of their life.Clients are professionals in the middle of divorce - smart, high-stakes, often heartbroken. They don't need a shark. They need someone who will fight hard and help them close the book on the fairy-tale-that-wasn't, so they can design their sequel on their own terms. You'll carry real matters, argue your own motions, first-chair your own trials, and have a genuine hand in how this firm grows. We move fast, we use good tech, and we actually like each other.COMPENSATION$85,000 - $150,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses. We reward WOW. IYKYK.Compensation:$85,000 - $150,000 yearlyResponsibilities:WHAT YOU'LL DOArgue motions and represent clients in family law proceedings from start to finish, from initial consult to final hearingDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence that don't need three rounds of editsRun case strategy - spot the issues, map the options, pick the path to resolutionManage mandatory disclosure and discovery cleanly and on deadlineWork shoulder-to-shoulder with paralegals and support staff to keep matters movingQualifications:WHAT YOU NEED (NON-NEGOTIABLES)Admitted to practice in Florida3+ years of litigation experience in family law and/or criminal lawLive within 30 miles of our downtown St. Petersburg office (this role is on-site)Strong legal research and writing - comfortable in Westlaw or LexisFluent with everyday tech: Microsoft Office, cloud tools, and a willingness to embrace responsible and ethical use of AI where it makes us betterClear communicator across every level, from client to court to teammateComfortable asking questions, admitting mistakes, and owning a project from start to finishCritical thinker, strategic problem-solver, down for lively legal debate, and unafraid of hard conversations with clients, teammates, and your bossAbout CompanyBrava is a boutique family law firm with a mission: transform divorce from a process that destroys families & fortunes to a transformational experience that empowers clients to move forward with dignity and bank accounts intact.Our tagline: We help end things gracefully so you can slay your sequel.
