Job Description

Overview

FSA Federal is seeking an Attorney to support the United States Attorney's Office in a mission-driven role focused on law enforcement initiatives. The position primarily involves analyzing financial records related to investigations and assisting in legal preparations for court proceedings regarding asset forfeiture.

Key responsibilities

  • Trace, review, and analyze financial records from investigations
  • Determine sources and delivery of funds, and the nature and volume of transactions
  • Assist prosecutors in developing legal theories for forfeiture
  • Prepare exhibits, charts, and abstracts of financial evidence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Three years of accounting, finance, or related experience
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proven commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to work in a team environment under pressure
  • U.S. Citizenship and 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation
