Overview

FSA Federal is seeking an Attorney to support the US Attorney's Office in asset investigations. This role involves planning and conducting investigations to recover assets related to debts imposed in cases managed by the USAO, contributing to the mission of enforcing financial accountability for the United States and its citizens.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist AUSAs in planning and conducting asset investigations.
  • Perform ancillary services in support of financial litigation.
  • Utilize electronic databases to identify recoverable assets.
  • Prepare periodic reports on investigation progress.
  • Coordinate with government officials and private citizens.
  • Prepare reports of findings for attorney review.

Required skills

  • Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in a legal environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of legal research tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.
