Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing 5+ years of substantive employment litigation experienceSenior-level professional capable of independently leading and managing single-plaintiff employment litigation casesExperience in handling claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful terminationSkilled in addressing wage and hour matters under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and corresponding state laws. Skilled in drafting and responding to discovery and pleadingsExperience drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and preparing matters for mediation, arbitration and trial Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentSoft Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong communication and organizational skills Key Responsibilities Represent employers in Georgia employment litigationDraft and respond to discovery requests and pleadingsDraft, argue, and respond to motions in state and federal courtsTake and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for hearingsAdvise clients on employment compliance and risk mitigation strategiesWork independently and collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategy and provide practical solutionsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
