Overview

The Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to student athletes and sports performance clients in a safe manner, adhering to the Missouri State Athletic Training Practice Act. This role involves identifying, reporting, and addressing sports-related injuries, while coordinating care for injured athletes under the direction of the Sports Medicine Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services to student athletes and sports performance clients
  • Identify and triage sports-related injuries
  • Report and address injuries at school, events, or clinics
  • Coordinate care for injured athletes at designated locations

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Missouri Athletic Training License in good standing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Previous athletic training experience (preferred)
