Overview

The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services to student athletes and sports performance clients in accordance with state regulations. The role entails identifying and managing sports-related injuries and facilitating care under the direction of the CoxHealth Sports Medicine Director.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide athletic training services to student athletes and sports performance clients
  • Identify and triage sports-related injuries
  • Report and address injuries at schools, events, or clinics
  • Facilitate care for injured athletes at designated locations
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Missouri Athletic Training License (active and in good standing)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
